Apple UK asks agencies to bid £10m for search work

UK agencies can now bid for Apple’s global search account, after they began a tender. The agency that wins the bid will be in charge of managing paid search activity for the entire range of brands, including the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Mac laptops.

Facebook won’t overtake Google

It was reported last week that Facebook had overtaken Google in visits for the first time in the US. But this will not happen for the forseable feature in the UK, according to Robin Goad, research director of web metrics analysts Hitwise.

PETA want Sex.com

Sex.com the most valuable domain name in the world is up for sale for $18 million. The surprise bidders are People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The organisation have asked Sex.com’s owners to donate the domain to PETA so they can can use it in their recent ad campaign.
